Zoli Bot Sippy Cup

The Small Fry has been drinking  from a straw for over a month now and he almost instantly learned it with the Zoli Bot sippy cup. He’s been using his Think Baby trainer sippy before we started giving him the Zoli sippy which I bought from Tottini, an awesome local children store in Seattle. It says on the box that it’s recommended for 9+ months but I thought the Small Fry could try using it a month early. More

Diaper Bag Obsession

I know I already own a few Skip Hop Diaper bags and they are all great, but I always find myself wishing the bag has this or that – if only I could customize my diaper bag! More

California Baby Calendula Cream

About a month after the Small Fry was born, he developed a red rash on his face and legs and it turned out that he has mild eczema. Our doctor recommended we use the Aquaphor ointment on him at least two times a day, and especially after his bath. Although it has helped his skin condition and eliminated the redness, his legs were still always dry. After going through several jars and tubes of this extremely greasy stuff, I realized I needed to switch to something else. More

Green to Grow

As soon as I found out I was preggo, I started looking online for safe and cute baby stuff including baby bottles. I ran across the Green to Grow and instantly fell in love with (the design of) it. The name sounds great and their package alone is so cute. I’m sure you figure it out by now that I’m such a sucker for great design. I showed it to hubby, he liked it and ordered a bunch right away! Stokke Tripp Trapp

I first saw the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair at a parenting magazine while I was preggo with the Small Fry and I instantly fell in love with it. It doesn’t look like a high chair at all, it’s a nice piece of furniture and they have a walnut color that matches our dining table! This wooden high chair can be adjusted as the child grows. It can be converted into a stool that can accommodate adults up to 300 pounds! The initial expense of the Tripp Trapp ($264), which is made of solid beech wood can be justified by the fact that it can be a usable piece of furniture for many years. You can also purchase a baby set ($70), the rail that attaches to the chair for smaller babies and a seat cushion ($39) in addition to the chair. More

Squishy Bowls

I was in a hunt for an orange bowl to match my Small Fry’s Think Baby sippy cup when I ran across these Squishy Bowls on Amazon. It’s the perfect shade of orange that I was looking for and it’s BPA, PVC and Phthalate Free! More

Beaba Babycook

I think the Beaba Babycook looks adorable and has a cute name and packaging but for a hefty price tag of $150, I know I will get chastise by some people for wasting money.

Most moms would tell you to buy cheap steamer and dust off your food processors and blenders but all the prep and the coordination of all these tools is all so time consuming. Then comes the Beaba!

Sophie the Giraffe

I discovered Sophie the giraffe by Vulli while browsing baby stuff online. Sophie is made in France with natural rubber and food grade paint. For $24, it’s bit pricey for a teether, but well worth every penny knowing that my son will not be subject to potentially dangerous teethers from China.

The Small Fry gnawing on Sophie

When I ordered this toy, I had no idea the background behind it.  Reading how and when it was developed and how long it has been in production, I was pleasantly surpised! More

Fisher-Price Rainforest Melodies & Lights Deluxe Gym

The Rainforest Gym was just so cute, and with the giraffe, we just couldn’t resist it but we have been extremely disappointed with it!
This gym is not nearly as nice as the Tiny Love Gymini Deluxe we had originally registered for and received as an early baby shower gift. We really wish we didn’t return and exchange the Tiny Love Gymini for the Rainforest Gym mainly because we liked how it looks – the giraffe looks awesome and it got great reviews on Amazon.
