Last night, I received an e-mail from one of my readers asking if I could share some of my pregnancy pictures on my blog so here’s some of my favorites…

I Peed on a Stick & Got Two Pink Lines… Again!
I still clearly remember when I wrote these exact same words a little less than two years ago. I felt extremely blessed and couldn’t believe it happened on the second try.
Although we were obviously lucky at getting pregnant, it was still a real surprise when it happened on the first try this time! It didn’t even occur to me that I might already be pregnant until one night while I was laying in bed reading a book, I felt something in my stomach & I instantly realized that I was almost a week late. I jumped out of bed and looked for that one pregnancy test that was left over from a box of 3 that I purchased the last time I was pregnant.
Then, it was a deja vu of my first home pregnancy test… I saw just the faintest of lines next to the control line. I immediately showed it to Michael and he was elated! Even though I already know that the faintest of lines could mean a positive pregnancy test, I still asked him to buy me another box of the test just to make sure. And after a couple more home pregnancy test, we’re happy to say that we are pregnant with the Small Fry #2!

Magical Tiny Flicker of Life
At 7 weeks pregnant, I spent the day feeling sick. I was coughing all night and had a terrible back pain that I could barely walk. Being sick while you’re pregnant has got to be the worst thing ever. I have a stuffy nose, sore throat and nasty cough. I am absolutely miserable! Sleeping at night is hard enough without having to move and feel a sharp pain that shoots up from my lower back and goes all the way down to my legs. Needless to say, I was terrified at what could happen to my unborn child. More

I Peed on a Stick & Got Two Pink Lines…
I immediately called the doctor’s office to schedule an appointment and they had me come in this afternoon.
Nurse: I have your results and it’s positive – you’re pregnant!
Michael: Yay!
Me: Not breathing…. are you 100% sure?
Nurse: It looks very positive to me!
Me: speechless (sooo happy!)

A Faint Line So Close To Non-Existent
This is the second month that we tried to get pregnant and after missing my period for a few days, I’ve been suspecting I’m pregnant. Wanting desperately to find out, hubby & I ran to the store after work and purchased an EPT.
Soon after peeing on that stick, a solid pink line instantly appeared and I nearly bit my nails off for a solid two minutes before a barely discernable, extremely faint [another] pink line appeared. I didn’t know whether to be elated or let down. What does a line that is so faint as to be close to non-existent mean?
There’s nothing little more stressful for me than suspecting I’m pregnant and not being able to confirm or negate it. But I guess I’ll have to wait until the morning to take another test.
Michael is extremely happy right now though. He is convinced I’m preggo!
