Blogging Hiatus

By now I’m sure that those of you who have followed this blog with any regularity could guess, given the lack of new content, that it’s a busy time for myself.

Work has temporarily eaten my life, so very little blogging for a while. We just recently moved offices and often by the end of the day, when I finally sit down at the computer at home at night, I find that I don’t have the energy left to write.

While I plan on getting back in the swing of things here, the next month may be very sparse in terms of new content. Hopefully I’ll be able to kick this blog back into high gear in the not too distant future, but for now I apologize if the blog may be put on ice.

Things have been going great with the boys. We enrolled Jordan to The Little Gym and he’s having a lot of fun! He continue to amaze me on how much he’s learning every day. Just yesterday, while he was playing with his Doodle toy, I asked him to write letter H and he did! He then wrote Hi! and said “Hi!”. Whoa! Since when did he learn to write simple words?!

Jayden turned 10 months on Friday,  still has no teeth but getting ready to walk! He can now stand on his own for a few seconds without holding onto something. He loves riding his wagon and standing on top of it while shaking it back & forth hoping that it’ll move forward! He climbs on everything and so fearless. I swear, he’s really trying to catch up with his big brother! His first word was “Mama” and he refers to me when he says it. Yay! :)

While I feel bad for not writing, I just keep telling myself that instead of writing, we’re making memories…

Discovering Life Together

I remember when my sister and I were little and would argue with each other, our parents would always remind us that in the whole world we would be the ones to look after and care for each other. No matter what the disagreement, we always had to find a way to make up our differences. The result was we have been there for each through every joyful and terrible things and she is honestly the best little sister I could ever ask for.

Now that I have two kids, I really hope for them to be best friends. To have a sibling to share life’s important milestones with is invaluable. Therefore, as my boys grow together, I want to keep them involved in one another’s lives starting with us spending quality time together as a whole family. Big J is 2 and Little J is 5 months old, and it is already so cute to see them get along and have a good time together.

Michael and I are so blessed to have our children, and they are blessed to have each other. Having a sibling, especially one so close in age, is definitely something good and I just know that the best years are ahead.
