When Things Take Unexpected Turns {One Year Later}
This time last year I was in the hospital - bleeding, hooked up to an IV and couple monitors around my big belly. As I look back to that night, everything that happened seemed to be a blurry mess except for the fear. Tons of fear and worries for my unborn child.
Big bleed followed by another few small bleeds got me stuck in the hospital on complete bed rest for a little over 5 weeks. It was long. It was boring. It was stressful.
However, it was also a blessing… a gift. That five long weeks strengthened my friendship and has given me new friends (the wonderful nurses that I still keep in touch with up to this day). That five long weeks made my faith stronger and gave me and my family a much stronger bond. That five long weeks was so humbling and made me really realize that no matter how tough things seem, there’s always something good beyond it. Even if you can’t see that light at the end of the tunnel, if you just hang on a little bit longer, things will eventually start to shine.
And the most important gift of all, that five long weeks gave me a healthy and strong baby boy who is now almost one. Yes, my little Jayden will be one next month and I still cannot believe that my little newborn is now almost a toddler.

You are one tough momma! It is good to look back at the things you have gone through and see how God works in His own way to bring blessings out of your difficulties. He is faithful and GOOD indeed. :)

Thanks Cy! I really appreciate you praying for me during that time when I was at the hospital.
