Pregnancy Issues That Prove to Be Embarrassing {Guest Post}

There are a lot of changes going in your body when you are pregnant, and so it is no wonder if there are some new symptoms appearing that you didn’t deal with before. Some of them might not be exactly advantageous for you.

Gas and bloating
Being pregnant comes with some side effects and one of the most common of these is producing excessive gas. This is caused by the hormone called progesterone that is known as one of the pregnancy hormones. This slows the motility of the stomach down. Because of it you will produce more gas and let it go when it is totally unexpected.

The solution to this problem lies in a healthy nutrition. You should try to avoid foods like broccoli or beans and carbonated beverages. It is also a good idea to have more frequent, smaller meals. You have the option to be using over-the-counter medication.

Vomiting
Morning sickness is one of the most well-known symptoms of pregnancy. Although it could occur very fast, there are some things you could make sure to do in order to avoid actually vomiting on someone. One of the things that you could do is to change the time when you take your prenatal vitamins.

Another thing to do is to wear a wristband. These are meant to press a nerve that relieves nausea based on acupuncture. This also reduces the risk of vomiting all of the sudden. Candy in ginger and lemon favor could help you. The chipped ice has the same effect.

Peeing
This is more than just a legend; peeing is a common symptom. This is because as the uterus grows, it pushes against the bladder and so it becomes more difficult for women to keep in even a small amount of fluid. It is a kind of solution to be drinking less water during the day, but this means that you will have to drink more in the night. Because of this you won’t have much sleep and it is also possible that you will wet the bed. An even better solution is to be performing Kegel exercises on a regular basis.

Vaginal discharge
Experiencing vaginal discharge is a common problem and it is often associated with swollen vulva. All this is caused by the increased weight of the baby. One of the best things you could do is to use panty liners. This way you can decrease the discomfort, the odors and the itching.

Some of the women opt to use intimate deodorant or some other products of the sort, but the downside is that these could cause other irritations. Keep in mind that you are more sensitive regarding odors, and it is possible that others don’t even feel the smells you think that are horrible.

Memory
It is common for women in their second trimester to be lightheaded or absent minded. This problem is caused by the pregnancy hormones. Your hectic schedule could also have a word to say.
