Baby Bottles: thinkbaby!
Back in June last year, I was ranting about the Green to Grow ($12 each) baby bottles and I just wanted to give everyone an update on which brand of baby bottle we settled on. We have tried the Avent ($5 each) which are better than the Green to Grow ($5 each) but still sucked. It leaked 90% of the time! We also tried the Dr. Brown which is okay but they’re huge, leaks occasionally and I hate the multiple attachments.
Then came the thinkbaby ($8 each) which we love! First of all, it looks cool because it’s orange and we love orange (we’re not into the everything blue for boy and pink for girl kind of baby products). The bottle shape is ergonomic and is easier to hold, it doesn’t leak and most of all, the nipple has a cross cut design which does not let the milk pour out when held upside down!

What’s really awesome is that the bottles turns into a sippy cup! ($20) You can get the sippy cup handle, attach it to the bottle and replace the nipple with a sippy spout – voila, a trainer cup! A little pricey for a sippy cup but then it’s also a regular milk bottle so I think it’s worth it.

The sippy spout is the same material as a bottle nipple however it is shaped wide and flat like a sippy.

Hi my daughter is 2 yrs old. We have been using the think bottles since she was born. It’s the only bottle she is so used to. I have notice over the past the bottles have been change from the form of the nipples to the color of the bottles. I have purchased many think bottles, now it comes in a clear color, it seems that these bottles tends to leak alot. Rather than the slight orange looking color bottle that I have (1st version that came out). I have been wanting to change the bottle because the old one has last but its time for a new one, I only purchase the nipples that i can use with my old bottle. I just don’t know why the new think bottles leaks soo much!!! please help!

Hi Gloria! Yes, I love the orange-y bottles as well but they stopped making those. They only have the white bottles now and I suggest getting a whole new set (bottles & nipples) and test them out. Maybe yours are getting worn out that’s why they are leaking. Just my guess…

How do you get the thinkbaby bottles to not leak? We bought these for my little one this time around and they almost always leak!

I’m not doing anything different but another friend of mine told me that her Thinkbaby bottles were leaking too. I never ever had a leak with mine though and I know few other people who never had leaks with their Thinkbaby bottles either. I will try to contact customer service and see what they say. I’ll post an update as soon as I hear from them.

Hi Candi! I was able to get in touch with Thinkbaby and they suggest that you make sure to pull the nipple all the way out to the collar and that it is also important not to overtighten the collar. Hope that helps!

We used Avent with both boys. The old bottles we had with our first are HORRIBLE…leaked all over the place, but they seem to have fixed the problem with the newer bottles. There is now a ring that you place in the bottle before you screw on the nipple. Helps a TON!
Those thinkbaby bottles looks great though! Even without the handles it looks like it would be easy to hold. Also like the soft nipple on the sippy cup. Might have to buy a couple for my little one.
