My Little Smarty Pants
I didn’t get to blog yesterday because two of Michael’s aunts visited me and brought some goodies from a Filipino bakery in Seattle. They spent the whole afternoon with me telling me old family stories which was nice. Shortly after they left, Michael came from work and not too long after that, Jordan came with my parents and spent the evening here. Overall, it was a great day yesterday!
This morning when I called home to check on Jordan, my dad told me that my Small Fry just figured out how to lift up the metal rod on the hinge of the baby gate. He wasn’t able to pull it out completely but he pulled it out enough to make the bottom part of the gate that’s attached to the wall a little wobbly. With a little bit more force, he could eventually take the bottom part off it’s hinge. Before I got off the phone, my dad was out in the garage searching our tool box for something to retrofit the gate. Oh, here’s another thing that he did this morning…
He spilled oatmeal all over the rug! My little chick magnet is nearing what they call the “terrible two” but in all honesty, I don’t think it’s that terrible at all yet but rather a fun ride for all of us! =)
