Thanksgiving

It’s that time of year again – a time when we traditionally look back over the previous year and think about all the things we should be thankful for. It’s a time to remind ourselves to see and acknowledge our blessings. Here are just a few things I am thankful for this time of year.

I am so thankful for the blessings that God has given us this past year. I am thankful for my family that gives me a sense of purpose and a reason to get up early every morning with a smile.

I am thankful for my past, with all its ups and downs, that made me who I am today and allowed me to have enough knowledge to appreciate the treasure that is my life today. I am so grateful for everything I have and I make sure to enjoy it every day and never take it for granted.

I am thankful for my wonderful husband that inspires me on a daily basis. My husband who is full of love, understanding, affection, adventure and surprises. Because of his love, I look forward to everyday with passion and excitement.

I am thankful for my son who makes me laugh every day. He’s a constant reminder of how blessed I am.

I am thankful for my parents for raising me the way they did and are now helping me & Michael to take good care of our son. Even though we do not always see eye to eye, they are always there for me and my sister and has always been a rock that you can count on. I am grateful for their love and support.

I’m thankful for my sister who also happens to be one of my best friends. I’m thankful for the friendship and love she gives me and her kind soul keeps me humble. she has helped me to see life in different and new perspectives as she encourages me to see with my heart instead of with only my eyes.

I am thankful for my in-laws who welcomed me to their family 8 years ago. They accepted me and treated me like I’ve always been a part of the family. I’m thankful for all of their love and support to me & Michael throughout the years.

I am thankful for my cousin in-laws (Rocky & Eunice) who has always been so supportive of our family.

I am grateful for all of my friends. For most of my life, I have considered myself to be a happy and blessed person. Nonetheless, I have faced many adversities and I am grateful that my friends had the strength to stick by me and instill some courage within me.

I am Thankful for having a great job to go to each day. Thankful for a boss and co-workers who are understanding and supportive of the needs of my family. I couldn’t ask to work for and work with anyone better.
