Farewell Daycare
Most of you know that I had been complaining about my Small Fry always getting sick since he started day care and how I can’t wait to pull him out of there. Well, last Friday was his last day and honestly, I got a little sad because in the past four months that Michael and I have been taking our son there, we really developed a great relationship with his teachers. It would have been a fantastic place if the Small Fry didn’t get sick too much while he was there.
We really love Michelle and Jessica because they took our Smally Fry into the infant room like he was their child. They showed Jordan a level of care that was above and beyond what I could have asked for in a day care provider. Jordan was no walk in the park for them – he cried every time we dropped him off but they would just pick him up, hug him and make him feel that everything is okay and that it’s going to be a fun day even without mommy and daddy.
Thus, it was a bittersweet day for all of us when we picked him up at day care last Friday. Jessica was crying while giving the Small Fry the sweetest hug. They also made a farewell card for him and had all the babies sign it (with their hand prints). It was very cute and thoughtful.

Oh my gosh, that was so sweet of them! Bittersweet, indeed. *sniff*
